ARIS JANIS BIRZE

Aris Janis Birze passed away on April 7, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on July 1, 1948, in Germany, Aris was the son of Leopolds and Milda Birze. He is survived by his nieces, Arija Birze, Vanessa Birze, Elizabeth Spear, and Melanie Birze-Cargill, as well as his great-nieces and nephews, Victoria Blohm, Echo Leigh Spear, Bobbie Spear, D'Artagnan Cargill, Scarlet Birze Vander Heyden, Elliott Birze Vander Heyden, Navy Hockley-Birze, and his goddaughter, Natalie Urbanc. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Latvian Cultural Centre in Toronto. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice. Aris is also survived by his friend Eugenius Krikščiūnas and his sister-in-law Vicky Birze.
