ANGELA COSTIGAN

Angela Costigan passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 83, surrounded by her family in Toronto. A devout Catholic, Angela lived a life grounded in faith and family, with a passion for the law. She pursued a career in law at the age of 33, becoming one of the first mature female students at Osgoode law school. Angela was a dedicated advocate, appearing in all levels of court, and was particularly committed to causes such as the integration of children with special needs and the Right to Life. She is survived by her children, Tim, Mark, and Shannon, and their spouses, Kathleen, Sarah, and Richard, as well as her grandchildren, Jack, Gregory, Katie, Eric, Kate, and Rosie. Angela was predeceased by no one mentioned in the obituary. A visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel on July 23, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church.
