William Swain

William Swain of Timmins, Ontario, passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on April 7, 1952, to Omer and Marie Swain, both of whom predeceased him. William is survived by his beloved wife, Karin Swain, and his stepchildren, Sara Ness (Dan Bourque) and Matthew Ness, both of Calgary. He cherished his grandchildren, Rowan and Sylvie Ness-Bourque. William is also survived by his siblings, Tim 'Walter' Swain (Maureen) and Susan Cotton (Jerry), along with his sisters-in-law, Rosie Onucki (late Dean) and Heidi Budzey (Claude Bisson), and his close friend, Ted Jakubiak. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Timmins and District Humane Society would be appreciated.
