René Martel

René Martel of Timmins, Ontario, passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 39. He was born on May 6, 1987. René is survived by his children, Andrew Martel (Raylynn), Akayshus Martel, Chloey Martel, Brandy Martel, and Maxten Martel; his parents, Joanne Roy and Maurice Martel Sr.; his siblings, Tina Martel (William Trimbell) and Maurice Martel Jr. (Valerie); and his cousin Chris. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Rose and André Bourgon, and his godparents, André Bourgon Jr. and Préscille Boyer. René is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
