Nancy Thibault

Nancy Thibault of Timmins, Ontario, died on August 18, 2026, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her daughters Janis Davies and Della Lynn, her parents Sidney and Mary Tomiuk, and the father of her children, Norman Thibault (Lou). Survivors include her children Catherine Moore (Graham), Mary Joyce (Brian), Norman Thibault (Julie) and Amy DeLaplante (René); her grandchildren Jennifer, Grace, Ilyssa, Corry, Megan, Alex, Sarah, Sydney, Shawnna, Jessica, Derek, Luc and André; her great‑grandchildren Quin, Miles, Sam, Georgia, Logan, Kieran, Ava, Ellie, Archie, Milo, Owen, David, Grace and Sadie; her brother John Tomiuk (late Pierrette); and her nieces Tina and Leeza. Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Lessard Reception Centre, 34 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N 1W4. A celebration of life is scheduled for the same day at 11:30 a.m. at that location, followed by burial at Tisdale Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. The family requests donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation.
