Maurice Chaloux

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Maurice Chaloux of Timmins, Ontario, who departed this life on October 18, 2026, at the age of 76. Maurice was born on June 26, 1950. He was predeceased by his parents, George Chaloux and Lillian Chaloux, as well as his brother, Kirk. Maurice is survived by his beloved wife, Anna May Chaloux; his children, Donna Hunter and Darren Chaloux; and his grandchildren, Amanda (Josh) and Brandon (Mary). He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Pols (Karl) and Donna Carr (Billy); his nephews, Jamieson and Peter; his niece, Sonia; and his sister-in-law, Eunice Ryan. Additionally, he leaves behind many in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and long-time friends. Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home located at 150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2. A funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St-Anthony's Cathedral, situated at 274 5th Ave, Timmins, ON P4N6K8. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrance donations be made to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation.
