James Pope

James Pope of Timmins, Ontario, passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 45. Born on April 3, 1981, James is remembered for the meaningful connections he fostered with family, friends, and colleagues. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Helen and Don Bigelow, Reginald, and Greye Pope. James is survived by his children, Lydia and Grey Pope; their mother, Julie Pope; his parents, Douglas and Cathy Pope; and his sister, Jenica Butler, along with many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Visitation was held on August 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
