Gilberte McCallum

Gilberte McCallum of Timmins, Ontario, was born on March 10, 1935, and passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her son, Brian McCallum; her parents, Mathias DeGrace and Leonie DeGrace; and her siblings, Reginal DeGrace (Joan), Madeleine Favero (Gildo), and Dennis DeGrace. Gilberte is survived by her husband, William McCallum; her children, Denis McCallum (Yuling Li), Kelly Baker (Jim Young), and Kim Rondeau (Gerald); her grandchildren, Scott, Taylor Ann Baker, Aleah, Joey McCallum, Mélanie, Stéphanie, Briann (Tyler), and Allison Rondeau (Jacob); her great-grandchildren, Mathias, Charlotte Baker, Kallum, Waylon, and Océane Barbeiro; and her sister-in-law, Jackie DeGrace. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, located at 150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM on the same day at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel. The family requests donations be made to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation.
