Amos Latta

Amos Latta, a resident of Timmins, Ontario, passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 75. He was born on March 17, 1951. He is survived by his son Benjamin Latta and Benjamin’s partner Heidi; grandsons Bruce and Victor Latta; siblings Joan Peterson, Theresa Quinn (married to Jim), Larry Latta (married to Francine), Katharine Latta‑Sims (married to Jeff) and John Latta; the mother of his child, Maureen Caza‑Latta; his significant other Janet Crocco‑Regimbal and her daughter Olivia Marsh. He was predeceased by his parents, Gesner and Cecile Latta, and his sister Lillian Roy. Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lessard Reception Centre, 34 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N 1W4. The inurnment took place on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Whitney Cemetery. The family requests remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
