She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Smith, her child Kim Paquette‑Toscano (Xavier), her parents Helen and Gord Marlow, and her sister Linda (Dennis). Survivors include her daughters Julie Paquette and Kristin Zeljkovic (Luka), grandchildren Danielle, Kalan, Isaak, Leila, Mateo and Niko, as well as her siblings Jim and Susan (Tom) and other nieces and nephews.
