Richard J. Goethals

Richard J. Goethals of Tillsonburg, Ontario, died on July 28, 2026, at the age of 70. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Leona (Harvey) Goethals. He is survived by his wife, Marianne (Erauw) Goethals of Tillsonburg; his daughter, Jessica Van Loon of Millbrook; his granddaughter, Emma; his son, Bill Goethals of Fergus, and Bill’s partner Melanie; his grandchildren, Clemmie and Winnie; his siblings, Cheryl Tough of Rockwood (married to Bill) and Gini Deveau of Charlottetown, PEI (married to Richard Deveau); his sister‑in‑law, Dianne Verspeeten of Tillsonburg (widow of the late Alan Verspeeten); and his nieces and nephews Michael Tough, Joey Tough, Dustin Deveau, Casey, Kevin Verspeeten, Scott Smit and Marcy Deroo.
