Patricia I'ola (Jenson) MEDAI

Patricia (Pat) I'ola (Jenson) Medai passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by family. Born in Brownsville, she was the daughter of the late William and Flossie (Dalby) Jenson. Pat married the late James "Jim" Medai Sr.; together they raised their children on a family dairy farm, tending cows, pigs, horses, and chickens, and later worked with Lillian and James on tobacco cultivation. The family relocated to Burford in 1975, where they shared tobacco farming for George Gilvesy Sr., before returning to the family farm in 1987. Pat and Jim shared nearly 67 years together before his death on April 29, 2023. She was employed by Fleck Manufacturing and TDMH in the SPD Department, retiring at 65, and served ten years with the Tillsonburg Lioness Club, including three years as President. She is survived by her children and their partners: the late Cynthia; Liz (Al Clark) of Straffordville; Christine (Ron Nutbrown) of Burford; Stephanie (Greg Lounsbury) of Tillsonburg; and James "Jim" (Jackie) Medai Jr. of Tillsonburg. Pat was a proud grandmother of thirteen, great‑grandmother of twenty‑four, and great‑great‑grandmother of one.
