Margaret Gilvesy

Margaret Gilvesy of Tillsonburg, Ontario, passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on April 12, 1938, she lived a life surrounded by family and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, George Gilvesy, and her parents, Joseph Csuka and Margaret Csuka. She is survived by her sons, George (Valerie), Bryan (Cathy), and Scott (Deb); her grandchildren, Grant, Adrienne (Erin), Paula (Parker), Joseph, Laura (Collin), Paige, and John (Alex); and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Gilvesy, Ella Szorenyi, and Irene Gilvesy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A reception was held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ostrander's Funeral Home, located at 43 Bidwell St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3T6. Memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the Gilvesy family.
