Harry Baxter

Harry Baxter of Tillsonburg, Ontario, passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on May 2, 1934, Harry lived a life surrounded by family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn Baxter (Bain); his parents, Harry Baxter and Nora Baxter (Scott); his siblings, Scott Baxter (Daisy), Violet Jackson (Howard), Jack Baxter (Phyllis), Bill Baxter (Betty), Ilene Pearson (Don), Leone Anderson (Roy), Verla Visosky (Bill), and Vera Vank (Steve); and his son-in-law, Pat Chester. Harry is survived by his children, Michael Baxter (Linda Lovegrove) of Kitchener and Teresa Baxter of Richmond Hill, as well as Julia Buchan and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, located at 16 Durham St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G1V7. The Baxter family appreciates memorial donations to Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, or the Canadian Cancer Society, which can be arranged by contacting Ostrander's Funeral Home at 519-842-5221. The family has chosen to direct donations to Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
