Georgette Rachel Bridle

Georgette Rachel Bridle (nee Demaiter) passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 93, surrounded by her family at the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin. She was predeceased by her husband Robert (2017), her son Mark (2015), her infant daughter (1968), her parents Michael and Martha Demaiter, her sister Rachel Demaree, her brother Mike Demaiter, and her in-laws Marcel Demaree, Maureen Demaiter, Helen and Stanley Jarvis. Georgette is lovingly survived by her daughters Patricia (Pete) Geurtjens, Catherine Bridle, and Nancy (Rick) Van Louwe; her nine grandchildren, Mercedes (Russell) Barnes, Austin Bridle (Olivia), Gavin Geurtjens (Emma), Brendan and Haydan Bridle, Dylan, Garrett, Georgia, and Blake Van Louwe; and her four great-grandchildren, Everly, Maielle, Eden, and Penelope Barnes. She is also survived by her sister Annette Demaiter, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
