George Klassen

George Klassen of Tillsonburg, Ontario, was born on June 2, 1937, and died on August 24, 2026, at the age of 89. He was predeceased by his son George and his parents, David and Anna Klassen. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Klassen (née Wiebe); his children Peter Klassen (late Tina), Susan Klassen (late Isaac Thiessen), Henry Klassen (Margaret), Tina Peters (Nick) and Anne Fournier (Norm); his brothers Julius, Abraham and Henry; as well as grandchildren, great‑grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, 119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H 1H3. A funeral service will follow on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Reinland Mennonite Church, 51979 Glencolin Line, Aylmer, ON N5H 2R3.
