Elizabeth FOWLIE

Elizabeth Anne Fowlie (née Fortner) of Tillsonburg, Ontario passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 86. Born October 13, 1937, in Smiths Falls to Fred and Margie Fortner. Beloved wife of the late Charlie Fowlie (1990) and loving aunt of the late Marie Doyle King (2021). Loving sister of Dolores Doyle. Much loved Mother of six children including Monica (Albert), Mary Ellen (Ed), Joanne, Linda (Scott), and Fred (Janette). Elizabeth is survived by her grandchildren Hillary, Bridget, John, Paul, Matthew, Kate, Sarah, Ian, Allyson, Drew, her ten great grandchildren and her niece Suzanne. Elizabeth's family wishes to express their gratitude to all the Doctors, Nurses, PSW's and support Staff of Victoria Hospital, London, 5th Floor Cardiac Care Unit for their care and support. We also wish to thank the Priests of Spiritual Care for their kindness. A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Tillsonburg, at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday October 10, 2024. A private family inurnment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth's name to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or the Salvation Army will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
