Christopher Burwell

The family of Christopher Burwell of Tillsonburg, Ontario, announces his passing on October 23, 2026, at the age of 60. Christopher was born on March 16, 1966. He is predeceased by his father, Archie Burwell, and his parents-in-law, Marian and Leo Hetherington. He is survived by his wife, Leanne; his daughters, Adrienne Le Souder (Mark) and Emily Smyth (Derek); his mother, Shirley Burwell; his siblings, Randy Burwell (Rachel) and Anna Gohm (Adam Tweedle); and his grandchildren, Erica Smyth and Cameron Le Souder. Christopher is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ostrander's Funeral Home, located at 43 Bidwell St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3T6. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Bethel Pentecostal Church, located at 269 Quarter Town Line, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3V4. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethel Pentecostal Church or Global Shore Opportunities (Guatemala Missions).
