Vittorio Francesco Garofalo

Vittorio Francesco Garofalo of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born on April 29, 1938. He was predeceased by his parents, Rosa and Tommaso Garofalo, and by his siblings Vincenzo, Agata, Maria and Franceschina. He is survived by his wife Teresa; his children Tommaso Garofalo (married to Linda), Rose Valente (married to Bruno), Mary Kassa (married to Paul) and John Garofalo (married to Paulette); his grandchildren Paul (married to Stephanie), Nathan (married to Ashley), Brittany, Vanessa, Amanda, Bradley and Emilie; his great‑grandchildren Marc‑Alexi, Jack and Ellie; his sister Leonirda; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church, 123 Hilldale Rd, Thunder Bay, ON. A funeral Mass followed at the same location from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and an entombment took place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3200 Oliver Rd, Thunder Bay, ON. Contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
