Victoria Owchar

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Victoria Owchar, who resided in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she departed this life on October 14, 2026, at the age of 98. Victoria is predeceased by her parents, Bartholemew Kindzierski and Pauline Kindzierski, as well as her siblings: Charles, Bernice, Valerie, Frank, Mary, Rose, Steffanie, Olga, John, Joe, Edward, Victor, Bert, and Adeline, and her son Edward. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Jones, Lynda (Henry Bobinski), Bill (Margo), and Dennis; her daughter-in-law Shannon; her grandchildren, Seanna Jones, Tiffany Jones, Chris Bobinski (Amanda Topetto), Kurt, Peter Owchar, and Jason Owchar; and her great-grandchildren, Samantha (Stellan Philion), Emily, and Sebastian Bobinski. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sargent Family Reception Centre, located at 21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 PM on the same day at the same venue. Flowers are welcome.
