Sandra Viklen of Thunder Bay, Ontario, died on August 20, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on December 28, 1947. Sandra was predeceased by her father, Irvin, and her son, David Viklen. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; her daughter, Kathleen, and Kathleen’s spouse, John; her grandchildren, Shaye and Kylee, and their father, Andrew; her siblings, Joanne and her spouse Paul, and Ted and his spouse Carol; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and her pet, Chase. The family thanks the doctors, nurses, and staff of units 1A, 3B and ICU. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA Humane Society.
