Peter Knudsen

Peter Knudsen of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on July 13, 1939, Peter is survived by his beloved wife, Helen, and their three sons, Lyle (Tarja), Scott (Marilin), and Jay. He cherished his grandchildren, Lia (Mike) and Kai (Meaghan), as well as his great-grandchildren, Luuka and Kaarlo. Peter is also survived by his siblings, Elsie, Ellen, Nancy, and Paul. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM, both at the Valhalla Inn, located at 1 Valhalla Inn Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7E 6J1. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation (Northern Cancer Fund), the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority, or a charity of your choice.
