Lawrence Peter Beardy

Lawrence Peter Beardy of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on February 7, 1982, he is remembered fondly by his family and friends. Lawrence was predeceased by his daughter, Anisabeth Kaiya Waswa (Beardy), and his grandparents, Jake Beardy, Lawrence Beardy, and Connie McKay (Beardy). He is survived by his children, Larissa Beardy-Rae, Gavyn Day-Beardy, and Erin Day; his parents, Patrick Beardy and Harriet Beardy; and his siblings, Joni Beardy, Christopher Beardy, Randall Beardy, Tamela Morriseau, and Janelle Beardy. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Esther Beardy and Absolom McKay, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. A wake was held on September 2, 2026, at the Westfort Chapel, followed by a funeral service at St. Matthew's Anglican Church on September 3, 2026.
