Laurel Dawn Grimwood

The family announces the passing of Laurel Dawn Grimwood of Thunder Bay, Ontario, on October 8, 2026. Born on September 25, 1960, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Laurel was deeply connected to many throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Allan and Coral, and her siblings, Ron and Shelly. Laurel is survived by her grandson Abel; her children, Nicole (Steven) and Tyler (Katie); her siblings, Crystal (Mike) and Craig (Shannon); and her nieces and nephews, including Melissa (Jaime), Kaileigh (Brad), Tasha, Taylor (Eric), Michael, Nicholas, Donovan, Jesse (Amy), Grace, Claire, Lyndy, Hutton, Jaxson, Weston, Lexi, Nova, Grady, and Mara. Her caregiver, Natalie, also survives her, along with numerous aunts, an uncle, cousins, and many friends. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oxdrift Community Hall.
