Kayden Lafond Giardino-Arella

Kayden Lafond Giardino-Arella of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 19. She was predeceased by her grandfather Settimio Arella and her great‑grandparents Fernando Giardino, Gilda Fabiano, Johnena Snow, and Stanley Snow. Survivors include her close friends Emily and Kira; her parents Sam Arella and Adriana Arella; her siblings Daniel, Markus, Anthony and Ava; her grandmothers Bonita Elizabeth Snow and Rita Arella; her great‑grandparent Adriana Giardino; her uncles Fernando Giardino (married to Liza), Danny Arella (married to Laura) and Dino Arella (married to Lori); her aunt Adriana Crupi (married to Cosimo); her caregiver Melissa; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Thunder Bay Public Library or Paws for Love Thunder Bay.
