Karl Lehto

Karl Lehto of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on July 27, 1941, he was surrounded by family, friends, and community throughout his life. Karl was predeceased by his parents, George Sr. Lehto and Toini Lehto, as well as his siblings, George Lehto Jr. and Marlene Niemi (Paul). He is survived by his wife Pat, his sons Grant (Susan) and Eric (Nicole), and his grandchildren Dawson, Madison, Maia, and Noah. He also leaves behind his siblings-in-law, Debra Pawlett (Don), Toini Lehto, and David Stirling (Fiona), along with numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
