John Meyer

John Meyer of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on March 5, 1937, he is fondly remembered by his family and friends. John was predeceased by his parents, Jan and Dieverdina Meyer; his parents-in-law, Alex and Lillian Williamson; his brother, Klaas Meyer; his sister-in-law, Seida Meyer; his nephew, John Meyer; and his brother-in-law, Wilho Ahola. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Williamson; his children, Janine Letwin (John) and David; and his grandsons, Jacob Letwin (Sydney), Mitchell Letwin (Queenie Xue), and Zachary Letwin (Emma Taylor). John is also survived by his sister, Jane Somerton; his brother-in-law, Roydon Williamson (Fran); and several nieces and nephews, including Diane Campbell, Kathleen Smith, Lisa Rezka, Brad, and Tyler Williamson.
