Jean Savitsky

Jean Savitsky of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on April 30, 1934, Jean was a beloved member of her family and community. She was predeceased by her parents, Nellie and Michael Savitsky; her husband, Walter; her siblings, Sidney, Elsie, Helen, and Shirley; as well as her nephew Mark, niece Deania Zerebeski, and great-nephew Mitchell Frost. Jean is survived by her daughter Marnie, son-in-law Dale, and granddaughters Jasmine and Emily, along with several nephews and many friends. A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Sargent and Son Funeral Home, located at 21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory to a local charity of choice would be appreciated.
