Gregory James Hookham

Gregory James Hookham, born on November 19, 1946, passed away on October 12, 2026. He is survived by his spouse Shirley, his son Paul (Natalie Buttrey), and his stepdaughter Jennifer Fratpietro (Mike). Gregory was a proud grandfather to Andrew Hookham, Isabella, and Tommy Fratpietro. He is also survived by his brother Bob Hookham, his siblings-in-law Linda, Susan, Larry Novak, Vern, Aida Maronese, Joe, and Bev Maronese, as well as his niece Sheena Owen and nephew Ken Hookham. He was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Reg Hookham; his former wife Barbara; and Eileen Isbester. Visitation took place on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, located at 21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4. A funeral service followed at 11:00 AM on the same day at the same location. A reception was held at 12:00 PM at the Italian Cultural Centre, located at 132 Algoma St S, Thunder Bay, ON P7B3B7. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Center at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
