Thelma Rotchill

The family of Thelma Rotchill of Thorold, Ontario, announces her passing on September 12, 2026, at the age of 78. Thelma was born on June 19, 1948, and is fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband, David Rotchill; her parents, Albert and Laura Fair; and her siblings, Phyllis Sosnowski (Mike), James Keith Fair, Jean Howey (Lyal), Emily Amyotte (Willie), and Melvin. Thelma is survived by her children, Denise (Sean), Tina, Jamie, and Richard (Miriam); her grandchildren, Megan, Jessica, Kaylee (Ashton), Ryan (Tyler), Devan, MacKenzie (Justin), Tyler (Tessa), Jordan (Taylor), Curtis, Joshua, Noah (Madison), and Grace; and her sister-in-law, Cathy (late Melvin Fair). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pleasantview Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. A burial will occur at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM, with a reception at the funeral home from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Niagara SPCA Cat Adoption Centre.
