Samira Kamel Hanna

Samira Kamel Hanna of Thorold, Ontario, passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on August 4, 1929, she was deeply loved by her family and friends. Samira is survived by her spouse, Labib Soliman; her daughters, Dr. Nelly Soliman-Wahba and Marline, who is married to Ramses Khalil; her grandchildren, Youssef, Moheb (Saki), Joy (George Antoine), Merette (Timothy Pazderka), Mark Khalil, Nicole (Ray Walther), and Tiffany (Jesse Husted); as well as her great-grandchildren, Micah, Hannah Wahba, Ari Soliman, Ayla Samira, and Lena Yasmin Walther. Visitation took place on September 3, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Pleasantview Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM. Burial occurred later that day at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, with a reception held at the funeral home from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
