Pierrette Marie BENOIT (nee Manseau)
Pierrette Marie BENOIT (nee Manseau) passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her husband, Donat, who passed away in 1995; their daughter, Lori, who passed away in 2023; and their son, Robert, who passed away in 1958. Pierrette is survived by her children, Gisele (Doug) Guay, Therese (Paul) Monfils, Denise (Tim) Foley, Mark (Sandra) Benoit, and Elaine (Barb) Benoit. She was also a loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 29 grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Pierrette's siblings, Lise (Doug) Brewer and Claudette (Emile) Mercier, Yolanda Manseau, Ivan (Mary) Manseau, Louisette (Doug) Gillis, and Jean-Guy 'Ziggy' (Elaine) Manseau, predeceased her. The family will receive friends at the HAINE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Thursday, February 5th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, 31 Chestnut St. E., Merritton, on Friday, February 6th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a rite of committal at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold.
