Phyllis (Mastracci) Iafrate

Phyllis (Mastracci) Iafrate of Thorold, Ontario, passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on March 16, 1933, she is fondly remembered by her family and friends. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Costantino Iafrate; her parents, Pietro and Amleta Mastracci; and her son, Frank. She is survived by her children, Bruno (Jeannie), Al (Cheryl), Piero (Carolyn), and Daniella Stukel (Jay), as well as her brothers, Raffaele and Gino Mastracci (Rosanne). Phyllis also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Viewing took place on September 8, 2026, at Pleasantview Funeral Home, followed by a vigil service. A funeral Mass will be held on September 9, 2026, at St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, with entombment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Niagara Health Foundation - Palliative Care.
