Peter James Pitt

The family of Peter James Pitt announces his passing on September 25, 2026. Born on November 30, 1950, in Thorold, Ontario, Peter is remembered for the many relationships he fostered throughout his life. He was predeceased by his wife Penny, his parents Fred and Kathleen, and his stepfather Nicholas Fenyvesi. Peter is survived by his children, Shannon Martin (Hazen), Richard, and Mikel Pitt (Tara); his granddaughters, Miranda Sky Pitt (Matt Bereczky), Madison James Moore, and Makenzie Jane Moore; as well as his siblings, Frances, MacLeod, Robert, Frederick Pitt (Doris), and Nancy O'Halloran (Doug). Visitation will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Pleasantview Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at the funeral home until 4:00 PM. Donations to a charity of your choice are welcomed by the family.
