Marlene Isabelle Seinen

Marlene Isabelle Seinen of Thorold, Ontario, passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on December 16, 1943, she is fondly remembered by her family and friends. Marlene was predeceased by her husband, Aaldert 'Rick' Seinen, and her parents, John and Ruby Carson. She is survived by her children, Anna-Marie and Joseph (Charlene); her grandchildren, Veronica (Mitch), Alyssa (Scott), Logan, and Addison; her great-grandchildren, Mia and Odette; and her siblings, Grant, Robert 'Butch', Edith 'Lou', and Joan. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, as well as on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A celebration of life will follow on October 14 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Pleasantview Funeral Home, located at 2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold, ON L0S1E6. In memory of Marlene, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
