Jacques Narcisse Lavallee

Jacques Narcisse Lavallee passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 23, 2026, at the age of 77. He was the devoted husband of Claudette, nee Charest, for 57 years. Jacques is survived by his children, Lianne and Marc, his grandchildren, Jessica, Chad, Noah, Clarise, and Koralie, and his great-grandchildren, Aiden and Freya. He is also survived by his siblings, Delaraise, Carmelle, Carole, and Omer, and his brother-in-law, Claude. Jacques was predeceased by his parents, Narcisse and Alexandrine Lavallee, and his siblings, Roger, Jean Roch, Joachim, Jeanne-D'Arc, François, Réal, Marcel, Michel, and Daniel. Jacques dedicated 36 years of service to the St. Lawrence Seaway and enjoyed outdoor activities such as golfing, fishing, and bird watching. The family will receive visitors at Pleasantview Funeral Home on July 28, 2026, and a Funeral Mass will be held at Paroisse Sacre Coeur on July 29, 2026. Burial will follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
