Gilda (nee Verrillo) GATTI

Gilda Gatti (nee Verrillo) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Westhills Care Centre at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Giovanni (2003), brother Luigi Verrillo, and sister Assunta DiRaddo of Italy. Gilda is lovingly remembered by her children Antonio (Clara) Gatti and Gino (Sarah) Gatti, her grandchildren Tony Jr., Angelia (Michael), and Emilie (Adam) Pawlowski, and her great-grandchild Finley. The family will receive friends at the HAINE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL on Thursday, July 2, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, July 3, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Lakeview Cemetery Mausoleum, Thorold. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
