Douglas (Doug) HOUGHTON

Doug Houghton passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 77. He was the beloved husband of Jane Frazer, the cherished father of Jackie Houghton and Jessica Houghton, and the special grandfather of Teya and Austin Chalmers. Doug will be sadly missed by his sisters, Faye Ricard and Jan Tracy, and his brother, Dwight. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Predeceased by his mother and father, Martha and Fred Houghton. Services will take place at Pleasantview Funeral & Cemetery, 2000 Merrittville Hwy at the corner of Hwy 20, Thorold, on Sunday, February 22, with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 p.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Niagara SPCA.
