Matteo Rao passed away on June 15, 2026, at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of Annunziata for 59 years, loving father of Connie (David), Sandra, and predeceased by his daughter, Julie. Matteo was a proud nonno of Robert, Alessia, Sofia, and Erica, and dear brother of Fortunato Rao and sister, Vittoria. He will be sadly missed by his many extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Matteo can be made to Cortellucci Vaughan Hospice. Visitation will take place at Holy Cross Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at the chapel, and entombment to follow.
