Sarah (nee Knee) WINSOR

Sarah Winsor, formerly of North West Arm Badgers Quay, Newfoundland, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on July 20, 2026, at the age of 79. Born prior to Newfoundland joining confederation, she was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Leah Knee. Sarah married Belah Winsor in 1965 and had four children: Marina Winsor, Glenda Gibbons, Derek Winsor, and Sarah Joy Wright. She was also a sister to the late Bridget, Audrey, Margaret, Terri, and Ursula. Sarah will be remembered by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She worked at Essex Wire and Home Hardware until her retirement. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the STEGH Foundation. The family extends special thanks to the medical staff at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for their care and compassion.
