Sarah Louise PERKINS
Sarah Louise PERKINS of St. Thomas passed peacefully at the Barrie Family Hospice on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the age of 44, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Madison Perkins, and will be loved and missed by her parents, Ernie and Heather (Pavey) Vankoughnett, and by her siblings, Colleen Vankoughnett, Melissa LaCroix, and Kelly Humphries (Bruce). She is also sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, Taylor (James), Rebecca, Chantelle (Trevor), Josh (Christina), Brooklyn, Logan, and Carter, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Sarah will be fondly remembered by Madison's father, Gord Perkins (Stephanie), and his children, Liam and Robert. Born in St. Thomas on May 25, 1982, Sarah worked for many years in insurance and was passionate about watching her daughter ride her horse and be part of the HSE barn family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at LHSC Victoria Hospital and the Barrie Family Hospice. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas, where the family will receive friends on Friday, June 26 from 2:30-4:30pm and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., followed by cremation. If desired, memorial donations may be made to an Education Trust Fund for Madison.
