Ronald "Kerry" DAY

Ronald 'Kerry' Day passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, at the age of 92, surrounded by his loving family at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Anne Day, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Kerry was the dearly loved father of Kelly Carr, Tracy Day, Bryan Day, and the late Karen Day. He was a cherished grandpa and papa to several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kerry was born on June 28, 1934, in Toronto, to the late Clarence Henry 'Hap' Day and Margaret Day. He had a lifelong passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs, sparked by his experiences as a stick boy and his father's involvement with the team. Kerry began his career at Elgin Handles Ltd. under his father's leadership and later became the owner and president. He is lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
