Peggy (nee Phipps) COOKE

Peggy Cooke, née Phipps, died at St. Thomas‑Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the age of 66. She was the beloved wife of Ron Cooke and the mother of Timothy and Richard Cooke. She is also survived by her sisters Julie Phipps, Ellen (Gord) Cavat and Sharon Phipps, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas, Ontario, with visitation beginning two hours earlier. Cremation will follow, and a private interment of ashes is planned for a later date. Donations may be made to a charity of the family’s choice, and condolences can be submitted online at www.sjfh.ca.
