Judith "Judy" Lynn MacDonald

Judith "Judy" Lynn MacDonald (nee Russell, formerly Clarke) passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 84, surrounded by her family at Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin. She is survived by her beloved husband, Keith MacDonald, and her devoted children: Michael Clarke (Kirsten Hughes), Stephen (Barb) Clarke, David Clarke, Paul (Karen) Clarke, and Angela (Mike) Dowson, along with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judy also leaves behind her stepchildren, Heather (Paul) Broadhead, Arlene MacDonald, Sandra Fisher, and John (Sheri) MacDonald, as well as her sister Linda (late Allan) Wills, brother Barrie Russell, and siblings-in-law Zita Lightfoot and Marius (Doug) Clements. Born in St. Thomas to the late Melvin and Gladys Russell, Judy dedicated many years to the St. Thomas Unemployment Office before retiring. Her life revolved around family, and she found joy in their gatherings and shared moments. The family expresses gratitude to the hospice staff and volunteers for their compassionate care, and to Therese Bate for her spiritual support during Judy's final days.
