John Robert WACHOWIAK

John Robert Wachowiak of St. Thomas passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 66. He was the beloved husband of Jane Wachowiak and loving father of Marie and grandfather of Liam. John is also survived by his sister Helen Phillips, brother-in-law Gerry Phillips, and sister Nancy Harms, as well as her husband Harald. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Rosa Wachowiak, and his brother Henry Wachowiak. John retired from General Dynamics Land Systems, Canada, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on his car. A visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Home on August 8, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will take place in Holy Angels' Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation or Prostate Cancer Research.
