James Douglas "Jim" RONALD

James Douglas 'Jim' Ronald passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 86, with his family by his side at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Janet (Smits) Ronald for 62 years. Jim was a devoted father to Terry (Heidi), Steven (Jennifer), and Robert (Nicole), and a loving grandfather to Jayme (Brent), Brandon, Kaitlyn (Brahm), Kylee (Tyler), Jordan (Francesca), and Joel. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Branch, Sylka, Amelia, Travis, Trent, Trevor, Rowan, Aiven, Blake, and Nixon. Jim was predeceased by his brother, Dick Ronald. He is survived by his brother-in-law, John Lemon, and his wife Charlotte (Smits), as well as many nieces and nephews. Born on August 11, 1939, in St. Thomas, Jim was the son of the late Earl and Margaret (Hubert) Ronald.
