Timothy T. CRAIG

Timothy T. Craig passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 85. Born in 1940 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, he spent his youth there and attended Notre Dame High School in Welland, Ontario. After graduating, he attended Assumption University in Windsor, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1963. He married his wife, Ruby Maurice, that same year. Tim and Ruby moved to Urbana, Illinois, where he completed his PhD in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois. He is survived by his sons, Brian of Washington, District of Columbia, Graham (Lynn) of Algonquin, Illinois, and Paul (Kathy) of Wheaton, Illinois; and by his grandchildren, Madeline, Riley (Ginger and great-grandson, Oscar), Helen, Morgan, Andrew, Caroline, Tyler (Carter), Courtney, and Bridget. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby; his brothers, James and Wayne; his sister, Gayle; and his parents, Marguerite and Keith. Tim's career included health care administration and teaching at the high school and college level. He and his wife, Ruby, relocated to The Villages in Ocala, Florida, in 1996, and became active in the community there. Tim faithfully served in multiple ministries at St. Petronille Church in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Ocala, Florida. He was received as a Lay Carmelite and completed several international mission trips.
