Shirley Jean (Roth) WAGLER

Shirley Jean (Roth) Wagler passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on Thursday, April 2, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Herb Wagler. Loving mother of Lisa (Kelly), Joe, Dave (Alisa), and Sonia, all of Tavistock. Loving grandmother of Julianna (Paul), Leighton, Kaleb, Karissa, and Kaden. She is survived by her brothers, Ervin Roth (Ruth Ann Westover) and Edward Roth. Also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wallace and Mary Roth, Delphine and Lorne Zehr, Laura Ann Wagler, Cecil and Reta Wagler, Marlene and Edward Schwartzentruber, and Keith and Ruth Wagler. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Angel Wagler; parents, Almon and Annie Mae Roth; sisters, Nelda Roth and Dianne Rellinger; and brother, Mayne Roth. Also predeceased by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Delmer Roth, Brenda Roth, Marie Roth, Wanda Roth, Bill Knoblauch, Doris and Seranus Kropf, Bernice and Floyd Brenneman, Leander and Beatrice Wagler, Betty Roth, and Lester Wagler. Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Chapel of the Glendinning Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street N., Tavistock, on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Ray Martin and Pastor Mike Williamson at East Zorra Mennonite Church on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow the service at East Zorra Mennonite Church Cemetery, 16th line. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth, the Mennonite Central Committee, or the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated.
