Lolu Thompson

Lolu Thompson, born on June 10, 1926, in Sutton, Ontario, passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 100. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Aubrey Thompson; her son, Joe (Sharon); and her granddaughters, Sherri and Heidi. Lolu is survived by her children, Aubrey (late Helen), Henry (Marianne), Barbara (Leslie Simm), and Kelly (Evelyn), along with her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, located at 157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, with a reception from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM. Burial will occur at 3:00 PM at Richmond Hill Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
