MARY DELORES JOHNSTON

MARY DELORES JOHNSTON passed away peacefully with family at her side on May 3, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born on March 29, 1933, in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, to Harold and Marguerite Huestis. Mary Delores was the loving mother of Margaret (Greg), Raymond (Karen), Julie (John), Mary-Beth (Jeff), and Colleen (James), and grandmother and great-grandmother to many. She was predeceased by her husband, James Johnston; sons, Bradley and Patrick Johnston; son-in-law, Donald Timleck; parents, Harold and Marguerite Huestis; sisters, Marlene Wilkins, Anne Gervais; and brother, Harold 'Sonny' Huestis. The family would like to extend special thanks to caregiver and friend, Frances Percy Campbell, and the staff at Hillsdale Estates, particularly Blueberry Hill, for their outstanding care. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Catholic Cemeteries & Funeral Services.
